Our body is truly an amazing and multifunctional mechanism that can independently cope with the absolute majority of the problems that form within it. For example, such an important process as ridding the body of excess cells and proteins is carried out almost entirely at the expense of certain hormones and special molecules of ubiquitin, a substance to which unwanted proteins and cells are attached for their subsequent decomposition. However, the excessive accumulation of such cells and proteins, due to the failure of this mechanism, can lead to various neurodegenerative diseases – and therefore a new way has been presented to combat this.
Specialists from Harvard University presented the results of their new research based on the desire to strengthen the regulation and effectiveness of the body's natural hormones involved in getting rid of excess proteins and cells – this is mainly about the so-called chemical trigger hormone cAMP, through which these cells decompose. Previously, scientists proposed a number of pharmacological methods and tools to improve this regulation, but now their research has focused on identifying new possible ways of such repetition, but only by the hormones themselves.
And such was discovered – it consists in systematic physical activity and the so-called medical fasting. Scientists were able to verify this by staging a rather lengthy experiment in which the subjects systematically engaged in physical exertion and went through the stages of fasting – it turned out that with such reinforcement, the natural activity of the cAMP trigger process increases several times.
This, in turn, means that the body gets rid of unnecessary cells and proteins much faster, while contributing to more rapid and safe decomposition – however, scientists are not yet ready to determine the presented method of natural regulation of hormones as absolutely safe, because they are not studied the possible effects and side effects – it takes some additional time.
