Visualization is the most powerful tool for developing a wide variety of devices, techniques and technologies. The sphere of applied medicine is no exception, where specialists have been trying to create a full-format and full-fledged version of visualization of cell division, the so-called mitosis process, for a long time. Even today, a talented team of specialists from the University of Allen presented their new development of this type, which included a fully volumetric model of healthy cell division, as well as illustrating some internal cellular processes – such a result simply can not be decisive in the further development of medicine.

The fact is that visualization of this kind makes it possible to visually study all aspects and features of the division of healthy cells, while at the same time finding out the various features of abnormal cell division. In the computer model presented by molecular medicine specialists from the University of Allen, there are so-called color markers, denoting different cell components and illustrating the transition from one cell state to another.

In particular, the developers of the model point out that the results achieved by them may be particularly useful and decisive in developing a practical model for preventing cancer, because cancer is an incorrect cell division. Thus, on the basis of more than 40,000 images and visualizations of cells, the scientists managed to create one complete and three-dimensional visualization, which also identifies 15 different cellular structures, and shows their ability to change, create duplicates and change the direction of development.

And all this in a full 3D format! Such curious results of long-term work cannot but be decisive for the majority of users, and therefore it becomes clear that the specialists will necessarily further improve and replenish their cellular model. In addition, we can expect a significant increase in the complexity of the presented visualization, which will certainly include more indicative biomarkers in the future.
